U.C.C started its business in 1975 primarily with Water And Power Development Authority (WAPDA) as a civil works and erection testing and commissioning contractor for sub-stations. Over a period of time, U.C.C grew and was elevated as A class contractor with WAPDA and till now has successfully completed a number of 132KV, 200Kv and 500Kv (AIS & GIS) sub-stations.

U.C.C entered into multinational arena in early 90s and successfully completed two WAPDAís 200/132 KV grid stations simultaneously at Ludewala & Bahawalpur with GEC Alsthom of Spain.
